Where did you get the paw paw seeds? They would have to be from a northern source if you are going to have any chance at all (i.e. Michigan). Even then it is iffy, but with global warming . . . If the seed is from last year, there is a good chance they are no longer viable. Se here for more info.

i did get the seeds by mail just this spring. i was going to plant them in a pot until the tree got strong enough to plant but i will need to do that for probably 3 growing seasons and i dont want to go through all of that if it will be for nothing...
