Hi Gladiola1, Perhaps you could keeps some plants under grow lights, or maybe start some seeds for your garden next year under some lights. A comfy chair beside your chosen spot with a good garden book or magazine may help. I don't know of any plants that grow outdoors during the winter months in NY that would stimulate you as far as light deprivation goes. I'd love to hear if anyone else knows of any..good luck..too bad we can't bottle this beautiful sunshine for one of those really cold rainy winter days...JoAnn ( maybe joining the Garden Web may be of some help to you this year...thinking of being in the garden, and sitting infront of the computer may help, I find lot's of sunshine here, and in just thinking about and planning my garden for the following year. )
