I haven't seen a single pepper yet (or even a blossom, that I can recall). And last year, I must have picked 40-50 nice peppers off of half a dozen plants.

I had the same thing happen last year, for no apparent reason....got one stinkin' little pepper from 8 plants! This year I have them in an earthbox, and they are loaded with fruit, and have many blossoms. I am also using Blossom Set on them this year. I never did figure out what was wrong last year.

Interesting! I have never heard of that before. Now if only I could get another flower or two on my plant! :)

I'm holding out for more blooms! But green peppers have always been one of the harder veggies for me to get much from. Yet I keep trying every year!

I hate to say it but ours are doing great. This year I put them out on about the 28th of April. We had to cover them about 3 times but they are thriving. I know a lot of people say they get permanently stunted if you transplant them when the ground is too cold but that has not been my experience. For me the longer I can extend the growing season the better.

Aw shucks! What variety do you all buy anyway? I keep getting the same variety every year and maybe that is my problem! I tried a different variety once and all the peppers tasted weird so I went back to my stand-by. I should try something new again but would like opinions!

The green peppers are Bell Boys and California Wonders. I also planted some Gypsy Peppers this year and have been happy with both production and flavor in these.

Hmmm...I only have one plant because I am the only one who likes green peppers. Mine is a California Wonder and it is making me wonder for sure! ;)
