Just over two inches of rain up in Ramsey just north of Anoka. A little bit of hail too but not enough to cause any damage! Though the wind might have done in my cherry tomatoes. The rain is a huge relief!!

Honestly, I was beginning to think that rain was just a dream I once had. I couldn't remember the last time it rained.

What a beautiful sound rain makes. You know it is dry when your carrots and beets wither and shrivel up.

I mulched all my tomatoes with hay this summer, and I think it has saved them. The soil stays cool and what watering I did didn't immediately evaporate. Carmellia

1.57 inches in South Minneapolis between 3 and 7 on Sunday. Yeah! here's hoping the cool front blows some more rain in today or tomorrow.

If that is .10 I wonder how they measured it? No rain since our Sunday shower. Grass has gone brown and the sprinklers are running overtime and breaking down. Keeps me busy tho.
