And a squash hanging in a pear tree
(the Far North Forum readers will get that one)
(and hey, it makes more sense than 10 Leaping lords!)

Pauline- I bet your spouse is the envy of every husband in the office. Most probably have to give gifts of the expensive kind!

TM is always bringing me 'treasures' from the woods. Among other things, I have a plentiful supply of various old stumps and logs with hollow centers...all have a lot of 'character' and are put into service as planters. These treasures sure beat the tractor tire he got me for my birthday!

Isn't it nice to have someone that knows us well enough to gie us what we really want. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for farmpost for our anniversary.

I am definitely jealous. The only thing I got was grounded this summer.
Whilst clearing yon buckthorn patch- I caught my toe on barbwire and biffed it big right in front of DH. I came up spitting dirt and got plunked down on a stump and told that I was "banned from buckthorn". Now I'll have to wait until next year when the memory fades.
