Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a Wisteria Macrostachya 'Aunt Dee' (gotta love those end of the season sales!) and have planted it in a nice, shelter location obn the south side of my property. The idea is to eventually have it trained into a standard to weep over the patio area. It is not up against the house or anything. My question is this- how do I care for it and get it ready for winter? Should I be doing any fertilizing at this point, if so what and how much? What about mulching? Should I be putting in some sort of support for it to begin the standard training, or should that wait until spring? I appreciate any help!
