I hear ya, Sykm. I got mine in on Sunday -- two Patios and three heirloom varieties. This is my first try with heirlooms... got a Garden Peach, a Brandywine, and a Red Pear.

As luck would have it, we got a little rain overnight -- not nearly as much as I'd like, but I'll take it. :)

I don't usually put my tomatoes out quite this early, but I'm feeling adventurous, I suppose. Last year I waited until mid-June, because we went on honeymoon at the end of May... the wait was excruciating, but we had very nice batches of tomatoes, just a bit later than most.

I put out four plants several nights ago and so far so good. In a good enclosed southern exposure how cold do you think it can get at night without killing these plants. Is a "freeze" the rule of thumb??

Mine all survived the high 20s temps we had last week w/o a hitch - southern exposure. :)
