Green Tomatoes

I still have some tomatoes that stubbornly refuse to ripen. Now that the sun angle is low, they get very little sun. Would it be best to just pick them and let them ripen inside?

Sure! If they have even a tiny blush of color, and you keep them carefully they'll probably ripen. Or, seriously, you can cook with them - fried green tomatoes, green tomato salsa, etc... I don't like them all that well but we have close friends who's family *ADORES* them so we give the green ones left to them!

Hi ,
You can wrap your green tomatoes in newspaper, put them in a paper bag and in the closet or somewhere like that, watch them. It has actually worked for me..
