They finished paving the alley yesterday. *WHEW* We've been through about 9 months of worry on this one. As some of you know there was a question about how far into the butterfly garden they would tear as the property line is most of the way up the slope! The city planner was a gem - to our great and huge relief they took only a foot! That is exactly where I'd moved that lovely patch of geum (Prairie Smoke) from and made sure everything else really important was shifted back. We'll see come spring what may need replacing if anything. Thought some of you might like the update!
