You're right...lugging them around is a pain. We disconnect them but leave them out. The only stuff we bring in is our patio furniture cushions and the umbrella. Otherwise, pots get turned upside and tucked behind bushes or under the deck.

I put mine in the garden shed (at the old place) and in the garage (at the new place). After draining.

Hoses are drained and then stored in the garage. Foam pots stay outside, but the terra cotta ones are also stored in the garage.

Hoses are drained and hung in the shed, pots are tucked under the deck or in out of the way spots.

Hoses keep getting left out cause I think I might need them one more time, then it snows...pots are in the crawl space/basement along with the patio furniture and I got a big cardboard clothing box from a friend (that that moved) to store all my plastic nursery pots in...I was stoked about that!

Hose's get drained, coiled and hung on hooks in shed and garage. I keep a short 25 foot one ready in garage to hook-up to clean the heated bird bath when it needs it(top it off each day with a pitcher). Pots - some get stacked in garage, in shed, greenhouse, under deck, etc.. Patio furniture goes in shed and under deck. Some tables due winter dutie holding my winter sowed jugs. And of course there is always something that has been forgotten about and not put away!

John, I bring my hoses into our shed also. I drain them and drag them to the shed. I also, drag into the shed all my patio furniture. It is a pain especially when you put them away and then we get no snow, no freezing weather and my plants need watering. ha ha.
