Broken Stem

Hello, We recently got a kitten and I found this morning that the stem to the money tree is broken. Is there a way to save it? Its broken but hanging on by a very small piece, but broken nonetheless. I didn't know if there was a way that I could replant it.. Can someone help? Thanks!!!!
