Moldy Peat pots?

Hello,

I am germinating seeds in peat pots filled with soil in one of those mini plastic greenhouses. Some of the seeds are sprouting but I noticed that the outside of the peat has fuzzy green mold on it. Is this bad for the seeds? Will the mold die when I plant the peat pot in soil? Does this mean I am overwatering?

Peat pots are highly susceptible to various molds. I don't think I have ever used them and not gotten a mold or algae of some sort.

99% of the time it is unsightly, but completely harmless. It will rapidly die once the plants are put in the ground.
