Bridal Wreath Spirea

I just received 25 bridal wreath spirea bareroot plants and am unsure about how to plant them. They are about 2 feet tall. Do they need to be staked? Will they bloom this year? Are they fast growers? All recommendations appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think you have to stake them at all, just make sure you plant them with the proper amount of space.

Here's a thread I started about pruning them with some pic of mine in full bloom. My pic's are in the middle of the thread.

Wow! Thanks for the info. They looked beautiful! I am on an acre lot and I am planning to plant my bushes among my trees and butterfly bushes. I have full unrelenting sun in the summer and have to be careful with what I plant, and I am hoping that these will do well. I realize that your bushes were on your property when you bought it, but do you happen to know how fast they grow from these spindly, bareroot bundles? Do you happen to know if my bareroots will bloom this year? Thanks again.
