It is time for starting the tomatoes, too late for Peppers, Zuccs should be directly sowed, and I'm not sure about the rest. Peas should be sowed in the ground before St. Paddy's day.

I think onion sets can be put in early, and garlic cloves need a winter, (I put mine in in the fall to harvest in the summer).

Good luck, and look for a swap to get rid of any extra seedlings you might have.

I will be starting my peppers soon, not too late, and my tomatoes beginning of April. With good light and warmth they grow very quickly. Make sure your seedlings get enough light, natural (on a window) or artificial (very close to a fluorescent light) so they do not get spindly. The ground has been unusually cold and wet, but seems to have dried a bit. I will plant peas and lettuce in my garden tomorrow (outside). Usually I replace them in early June with corn.

I am thinking of getting some heirloom seeds, do you plant any? If so, what kind do you think do best in CJ?
