Vining Squash taking over garden!

Hi.

I am an urban gardner and this is my first attempt at growing food vegetables. I have three beds each about 4' by 6'. I planted some tomato, basil, pepper, and squash in these beds. The problem is that the squash plants are taking over the space and spreading vines throughout the other plants and blocking sunlight. I have seen some people make trellises for squash, but these vines are like 5' long and growing everyday. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I am trying to find a way to get the squash to harvest without sacrificing all my other plants.

thanks in advance for any help,

Tim McG
