This is a very small, immature Choo Choo Train, planted about a month ago. As you can see, rippling is already showing up. At the point the picture was taken, it was only ~6" across.

Here's mine when it was a baby, It does have the waviness early on:

It got set back this year by the late freeze, but here's a nice pic from 2005:

This sounds familiar. Last year Andrea got a CCT in a trade - except that it wasn't. I remember the trade because the husband wrote a note insisting his wife was not wrong. Aka _Margo and others were still waiting to receive their trades. In the end the wife admitted it might not be CCT.

Joyce - email Andrea and Margo and see if it's the same person. It would be interesting to know if it the same woman, and if so find out why is she still passing her Honeybells off as CCT. She needs to be banned from trading or at least "outted" to other forum members so they don't get burned.

Here is the link to last year's thread. Good luck!

Here is a link that might be useful: The Choo Choo Train has left the station

I believe that person is no longer on Gardenweb, but she was on gardenweb last year and earlier this spring. She claimed in our co-op that she got kicked off gardenweb, but she still shows up as a registered user. I never did receive any of my plants from her, all I got was the run around.

So if the hosta came from Iowa, we can say that it is not CCT.

On a side note, she also got kicked off of our co-op.

But the Honeybells looks great. LOL
