I bought some seeds from Amazon that are supposed to be Hosta. here is what I bought: 308 hosta seeds

The seeds do not look like what I have seen others people posting about there sees., The is no wings of flat portion. The are round oblong seed

I planted these and the germinated in about 3 days. From what I have read, hosta seeds take about 3 weeks.

Also, from what I under stand, even the seedling should have the general leaf shape as a parent. and should be close to the ground.

What I have are growing on a stalk and do not seem to have the correct shape.

I need hosta or similar properties as I need to have some soil retention under my deck, and I was recommended to use hosta along with several other plant due to the shade loving and root structures, and as a bonus they look gorgious.

I do realize that these may not be purple as the seeds are not always goin gto look like the parent.

Do these look like they maybe hostas?

If not, any ideas what they are?
