Thanks, Claire. This is excellent info to have. Our Cape forcast has changed for tonight, from snow showers to partly cloudy. I'll be driving home from Knitting Class at 8:30 so I should have a great oportunity to view this eclipse. I love stuff like this.

I watched this for the majority of my evening, off and on - kept running to the window to look out! I love eclipses, and I love the moon. One of the few advantages to getting up at 4AM to bring the kids to hockey practice is to be able to admire the moonlight. The last few nights/mornings in particular have been spectacular.

It sure has been beautiful the last few nights. Full moon, clear sky (or mostly clear, or a pretty haze, or a few streaky clouds), and snow on the ground. The eclipse just made it extra magical. Makes me wish I had a great camera and knew how to use it!! :-p
