My Salpiglossis broke!!!!!!!!!!!!
About four inches down the main stem, my salpiglossis (chocolate royal) snapped, the entire plant is only about 12 inches maybe a little more in height, i just transplanted it about a week ago. It didnt break off completely but enough that its limping over between 45 to 90 degrees. Not to mention that on the part that broke there are about ten flower buds that just started showing some color and are fit to bloom in a few days (if they make it), one of which has already started to open up.
you dont realize how desparate i am, i really dont know what to do and i dont want the flowers to die before they even got a chance to bloom.
the only thing i could think of (and i know this might sound silly) was to re-align the broken part of the stem with a tiny piece scotch tape.
Please help :(
