While someone may be able to ID it with the information provided, I cannot. If you can post a photo of it you would likely get a rapid ID. Otherwise you can try your county extension agency to see if they know.

Your terminology is just fine, but the description does not offer enough information for anyone but a mind reader! LOL. I often think that we have some telepathic folks here on the gardenweb (I might have qualified a time or two), but we just need some more information to be able to make some educated guesses!

i guess in the meantime i am not sure how else to describe the plant??!!
i guess i thought the most unique aspect was the flattened-pear-shaped, fuzzy, light green seed pods with the three large black and green speckled seeds
i've never seen anything like this before!
the seeds are flat and smooth and about the size of the distal phalanx of the thumb
