In my area (just outside of Trenton), we've had a few days of pretty heavy rain, and we're looking at rain/rain showers for the majority of next week. The nurseries that I have been shopping at don't seem to be carrying less or more, to me it seems about the same.

I'm hoping that we don't have another drought.

Right now, precip in North Jersey is normal--after a sunny, mild, dry week, next week looks to be quite showery. But I do think it's going to be anther very hot, dry summer for the Northeast. "Normal" seasons just seem to be something from the past.

The rain has bypassed us in Englishtown. I hoping not another dry summer.

Last summer was hell! Funny, I didn't see much about it on the news until the end of the summer. I think non-plant people hardly noticed it in the beginning, as the groundwater reserves were high and it did not effect people filling their pools and washing their cars. Meanwhile, I was watching the forecasts in agony while we did not get significant rain most of the summer.
This Spring, thus far, has been good.....cool and moist (with the exception of this past week, of course, which has been very dry). However, it looks like rain again this weekend or at least early next week. I hope the summer is more "normal".....especially in regards to precipitation amounts and frequency.
