i am looking to plant around my pool for privacy, getting conflicting information can anybody direct me as to the differences between a arborvitae green giant and Leyland cypress. I was told the cypress roots will ruin my concrete around my pool if i plant to close.I was told the deer will feast on the green giant. I know these both grow very fast and are large. the truth is i am only looking for something to grow about 10ft. so it doesn't over shadow my pool, if anyone has any ideas, i want full coverage thick from bottom up.
