Its getting close to that time of year again. This is when I swear I won't buy anymore tender perennials and tropicals.

I really hate overwintering plants. It always turns out to be so time consuming just making cuttings, potting things up, cleaning off tubers. And then the bugs. Hate the bugs.

This year I have two huge passifloras - one is Passiflora x incense and one is Passiflora alata caerulea. Anybody do these before? I would like to let frost take the tops and overwinter the roots in pots in my attic like I've done sages and dahlias. Or better yet, bury and mulch. Anyone do that here in NJ?
