Down here in South Jersey we really didn't have a good rain all summer - all the really good showers passed to the north of us. It has been one of the longest dry periods I can remember.

It sure has been, and today's little spitting of rain was just tantalizing. I wonder what autumn and winter will bring.

I see. Yes, it is your fault. Maybe you should invest in a snowblower too.

Your thinking about the snowblower is creepy. I have been joking with friends, for the last two years, that we are safe from snow. Three years ago my daughter got her car stuck at the end of our long driveway in a foot of snow. I bought a blower. No snow since. I am fortunate enough to live on acres and a great groundtable supply of water so I put in a well by hand, just to water the plants and top off the pool. Fabulous, but really not practical for everyone. Have used it constantly, what with no rain. And I would not use it if official word came out about restricted water use.
