diggerz,Abutilon is a annual flowering maple.If that's an Abutilon then that's what it's called.My friend Juanita grows and sell them and they come in different colors and different leaf patterns. Some leaf patterns have yellow spots on them and some are plain like the photo shows.I don't know if that helps or not,But I;m pretty sure were on the right track.BTW That was a very beautiful plant and photo!

I don't think it's actually a maple, like the tree; it's just that the leaves are similar. Abutilon is in the same family as mallows.

I think it's a fairly old plant, one of those Victorian parlour plants. I see them in the garden centers more and more, but I don't think I've ever seen one in a real-garden setting.

Alison had it nailed. It is an abutilon.

i have a white/green variegated abutilon myself. the foliage is goregeous. on my plant the flowers are not as attractive as the foliage though
