beautiful flowers. i killed the spike i had on mine. mine has 2 bulbs: do you suggest that I separate them? thanks.

Calvin, I'd say it's worthwhile: scent and ease of growth, plus no need to water for a couple of months while it goes dormant.

Littlem, if you have only 2 bulbs, it might be better to not separate them. Mine had five bulbs, so I felt confident I could split them into a pair and a trio when they went dormant, then repotted them all together when the two sets each put out a new growth.

Obviously you need to feed them well so that they can maintain older back bulbs and not cannibalize them like mine did.

That does it, now I HAVE to get one for my collection!!! Such a healthy-looking plant, too!

This instantly went on my want list and I started looking for it.

Two problems came up

First apparently the spelling is cycnodes at least that is what Google said and more hits came up.

Second it isn't really all that available only from one place I found.

So if you ever are able to divide I would love a piece of that.

It really is an amazing bloom nice growing.
