Wow, so many beautiful blooms from such a tiny plant! I don't see any leaves. Is this a deciduous grower? Strong petrochemical fragrance???

granniek - It is deciduous, but I help it along by cutting off the leaves, since they start to look ratty by flowering time. Once the leaves are gone, watering is cut back drastically.

Anna - I think I got it from Parkside Orchids years ago.

barbara in la - It's very easy to grow - bright light and frequent watering when the leaves are fully developed. Mine grows in New Zealand sphagnum moss on the greenhouse floor with the Paphs and the African Violets.

Spectactular plant! I've always wanted one of these. Local nursary had them but sold out before I found out and they've never had them again.

Would you mind taking us through the growing year for this orchid? I have one that has lost its leave and I'm keeping it dry, but I don't really know when/how to initiate watering.
