Jan, I saw that y'all were going to 'get it' again this week and was thinking the same thing that you said--any moisture that falls up there is good. At least it will melt quickly this time.

I'm glad it is falling up there and not down here. I hope I don't have to cover up the plants in the garden any more this year.

We're expecting rain here later today when the cold front makes it this far south, with a very slight chance for severe weather. We don't need moisture here...it is still almost too wet to plant, and I sure wish we could send you the rain we're expecting. Of course, in July or August I'll be wishing for rain.

Dawn

Jan,
I posted above then saw your post. I think you might get more than us again. I just got back from the store. The curbs and crossings are running good from the melting snow. It is warm enough that not much has stayed on the tree limbs. My BIL and sister said they have had 2-3 inches 22 miles SE of us. We are having little snow showers off and on now but the snow is real light and small flakes now. I feel most of ours is over. It sounded like from Clayton to Boise City back to Dalhart really got hit all day. They are saying rain here again in a few days. Got almost half of my onions planted. Then have the cippolinis and leeks. At least it is starting to look like a garden. Got my covering for the greenhouse ordered. Hope you have received the seeds by now. Jay

We have had snow all day since about 11:30 but it melted later in the day as it was falling so we only have about 2 in on the ground. More may accumulated tonight if it cools down more. We probably have received an inch of precipitation so far and it continues to fall. We can always use the moisture.

Jay, I received the seeds yesterday and hopefully will get them planted this weekend. I am looking forward to growing all the varieties you sent. I appreciated your sharing them with me. Hopefully, sometime I will get to meet you since you live fairly close. Thanks much.
