Physothallis now Pleurothallis cylindrica

Found in only in one location, Loja Ecuador as a cold grower. Makes very long spikes with 2 to 4 flowers open at a time. As they fall off new ones open up and the stalk elongates, can get over 2 feet long over a period of several month.

The flowers are little cylinders with a tiny opening. I'm sure someone cares as they do get pollinated.

I has 34 stalks flopping all over the place. I have gathered them together here to demonstrate the growing habit. Usually it has 3 to 4 flowers per stem but it's been to a couple of meetings recently and some of the flowers got knocked off.
