Mine was fine this year...more robust than in warmer years in fact.

Mine have been in the ground for years. The early ones bloomed before that 2 F that came the first week of March. That cut their bloom time short. The big ones bloomed later and had the full time of beauty.

Ive had some in front of my daff bulbs in our front planter for a few years, I had maybe 40% bloom well.

All my spring flowers didn't do well the last 2 years.
A lot of people told me the same thing at the last spring fling.

Thanks everyone. I didn't realize daffodils were crocus. I've yet to really get into flowers except for the few beneficial natives gifted to me.

The only flower work I've done was on a small plot of daffs a couple years ago. Boy, they responded well this year.

Are hyacinths a form of crocus? We have a ton this year.

Neither daffodils or hyacinths are crocus. They are different species. There are though, hundreds, perhaps thousands, of varieties of daffodils.

I gotta dig up those Iris sometime within the next decade. I divided the daffs a couple years ago. The Irises began taking over that area, too.
