Raphael - This plant came from Mountain Orchids some years ago. I'll bet you can find someone selling it on the Web.

Carol - I think the key to growing this species is giving the roots air and light. The plant grows on a treefern mount, gets lots of filtered sun and frequent waterings.

I must say, I think I've looked at these pictures a dozen times. They are without a doubt some of the loveliest ever posted out here. I'm very curious as to the size of the flowers and the entire plant? They look huge.

Carol - Night temps go down to 55F in the winter.

Oh my gosh, I'm in a swoon. I also have a small L. jongheana from Mountain Orchids. I hope she grows up to be just like yours someday. I'm going to hold her up to the monitor so she can see her role model. sigh. Please post any particular cultural practices you are using. Thanks so much for posting the photos.
