My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
This is a first time bloomer. There are two more buds that appear to be forming on the blooming cane. But I wanted to post this first bloom just in case I am wrong about the other buds.
It is a rather glossy flower with a slightly spicy scent.
I am growing mine in a southern window in intermediate temperatures. Over the winter, I let it dry significantly between waterings. Now that the new growth is showing, I am increasing watering. I am still letting it dry between but not letting it stay dry as long.
Pretty much the same - potted in a small clay pot in NZ sphagnum, bright light, more water now that it's growing, a little fertilizer, but very weak. Tucker
