I am so glad I decided to buy this one last summer. When I saw it, it was a sorry looking thing with two ratty looking leaves. Thanks to Kevin for much advice on caring for this guy...these are the crocuses of the orchid world. This is an noid cultivar, I think.

Calvin - Just beautiful! Aren't these fun to grow and bloom? I just wish we southerners had access to more of the species.

Thanks for looking! I'm so pleased with the lack of winter care...what a great deal. Now I'm tempted to try more different kinds...Carol - ever checked out Fraser's Thimble Farms?
