Cape Fuchsia

Dawn, I found the tag on my plant, and the cultivar is 'Devil's Tears' - red with yellow-orange flared lip. Related to Penstamon and Snapdragons, it is in the schrophulariaceae family. It is root hardy to zone 7, and has a tendency to sucker from what I read. But who wouldn't want a gorgeous perennial like this that attracts hummers and butterflies as a bonus, everywhere in the garden?

There are yellow and pink cultivars, but the red is supposed to be the best for attracing wildlife.
