Sheila, thank you - the white with purple lip - I think you are referring to a half open Laelia Purpurata...We have been having rain every day, and I did not catch the flowers when they were open, to take a picture...This picture was of the flowers just starting to open up.
I believe it is L Purpurata 'Schuster', to be exact
