It's hard to follow who he's writing about. Is he talking about Susan and her wife??? Or him and his wife? I see the attempted transition but it's a weak one.

Anyway I think his premise is incorrect because I disagree that lawns are the second most hated thing in gardening after invasive plants.

Well, bermuda is really hated by a lot of hardcore gardeners. It's an invasive plant that quickly takes over plant beds in a blink. I see that everywhere around here.

Not only that, it's very easy for weeds to take over bermuda lawn because it's so thin. Requires a lot of chemicals to make it look good compared to st augustine lawn.
