Just picked up a couple of three bags from the Handley Feed Store in Ft Worth -- they don't stock it, but they make their run every Thursday and get get what you need.

Paid $13.50/bag.

I bought a couple months worth so I don't have to keep placing special orders...the guy said as long as you keep it dry, they should be fine in your garage for that amount of time.

I've gotten mine at Ruthardt Pet and Feed on Belknap for between $11 and 13$. I haven't been there yet this year though.

It's not about trying to keep it dry, it's trying to keep bugs out. Trust me, I've done it and regretted it. I only buy them when it's time to apply.

Lou -- From your experience, how long would you say they'll last before the bugs come...okcdan mentioned in a post that he buys 2 months worth at a time (one to be applied immediately, and another for 4 weeks later)...new to this scene...plan to use all mine by early/mid May.

I orderd three bags last week from Silk Feed located in Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas near 635 and 35, for $16 a bag that's close to my house.

frogfan-- Last year i got two bags and used one on the day i got it and another in 4 weeks i did not have any bugs problem, i did this all year last year, but this year i am going to get three at a time and store two bags.
