The Wind Is Going Nuts Here

I don't know why. Usually when we have winds like this, they are outflow boundry winds from a storm that has pushed significantly further east.

How windy? It's been mild--in the teens and maybe lower 20s, then suddenly, just like someone flipped a switch, we're in the 30s and gusting into the mid 40s. Sort of odd and expected to last until at least 1 p.m.

Mitch, if you see this, I bet y'all are having a little wind burst too.

One of the weather advisories said trees and power lines could be brought down, but so far all I've seen is the trees whipping around in the fierce wind. Lots of bending, no breaking.

The tomato plants I transplanted on Sunday have taken a beating from the wind ever since and this wind can't be good for them.
