You people shamed me into learning how to post photographs now you're in for it!

I stated earlier that Chysis had to be fairly large to bloom. This one first bloomed on a plant that is far from huge. The inflorescence is on the 5th pbulb, the next one is already forming. Notice the leafless old bulbs, tends to go deciduous but I don't stop watering as the new one is forming at the same time.

A year has gone by and almost to the day It is at it again. The bulbs do seem to be getting bigger last years turned out to be quite large. As is the pattern with these the new pbulb is quite small as the flowers open. On the left edge of the picture there is a wire, right next to it is the developing new growth from which this inflo is arising. Last year's bulb is lying across the bottom.
