Just checking in with everyone giving an update of my situation and inquiring as to everyone else's issues regarding life, love and gardening.

As for me, I just bought a house after receiving a good job in my hometown. I've begun dating a young lady I grew up with. She's been through a similar situation so she knows what I went through. We both have small children and both little girls are close in age and get along swimmingly. We are taking things slowly.

As for my garden, it is coming along nicely. I've got tomatoes about the size of a half-dollar on my Lemon Boy plant. Arkansas Traveler and Black Cherry are right behind. Peppers are forming and corn is about knee high. Good times.

Great to hear from you Reed. I was just wondering the other day what you were up to and if you got your tomatoes up and going.
mine are running behind because of this terrible wind we have had for over a week.

Hi Reed,
Sounds like things are better for you. Not much garden in our part of the State yet. I stuck some extra tomato plants in the ground a little over a week ago and covered them with 5 gallon plastic jugs with the bottoms cut out. So far, so good. I didn't plant Spring crops because of travel, but I have lots of tomato plants to put in this week, and I need to shop for some peppers. (Dawn agreed to help me with that also). I will not have a normal garden this year, but we did get a lot of trees planted at my son's place this Spring and I will just have to settle for the Summer crops that I can put in now and later.
