Dendrobium auriculatum

First bloom. It's blooming on a tiny 2-year old leafless stem. The flower is about 2.5 " (60 mm or so) across. It has one growth from last year and 3 new ones, so I'm hoping for lots of beautiful flowers starting in a year or so.

This is such a cute little plant. I also have one. It was not started blooming yet but I am looking forward to it. Do you know if it only blooms on the leafless canes?
