It's an American Beautyberry, latin name Callicarpa Americana.
I have several growing wild in the edge of my woods. I love the bright color of the berries.

Does it still have berries on it now Amazon? That seems pretty late for Beautyberry. I don't have the native one though. I think mine was labeled 'Profusion' and its berries have been gone for awhile. Not sure whether they were eaten by birds or just fell off. lol

Yes it still has berries. I have 3 already but like yours they don't have berries on them anymore. I'm going to save this one today becuase they are landscaping the area and they like to start with bulldozers. So i'm rescuing the lil fella. It is odd to still have berries. And they are on the tips of the branches they don't run way down the branch like mine but maybe that's a wild thing? The berries other than position look just like a beuty berry. Watch in 5 years i'll have figured out it's some obnoxious weed pretending to be beutiful.lol

My husband seems to think it is a plant he calls buckbrush? i dunno maybe maybe not. lol

He must be talking about Coral Berry. It looks a lot like the Beauty Berry but the berries on it are more of a dark salmon color, at least on the ones I've seen. I've added a link that you can follow if you'd like to.

I'll let you know if that's what it looks like this Spring. Now it looks like a stick with purple berries on it.
