Your Vasco. Baby Blue is GORGEOUS !! I hope my Blc. Keowee 'Newberry' blooms as nice as yours, I just got it and it's in a 6" basket outside with one sheath so far.

I don't think yours is an Encyclia because El Hatillo is not a species name, it's a hybrid name. "But it's just my opinion and I could be wrong !" D. Miller :D

You are so right-I got careless about the name. An Encyclia can be a hybrid if 2 Encyclia species are crossed. :) Lots of lovely blooms on yours.. Mine is a large plant, but the scale had a feast while I was away. :(

I love my Baby Blue. It's also mildly fragrant, as is the Keowee.
