lawn cow poop? fresh versus old feedback?

my lawn is the worst on my street, ive tried horse manure but that did nothing but stink and didnt really do anything. ive tried everything. my friend some dry cow patties and used it on his lawn, he had good results. i gotta have a lawn good as or better than his lol. does anyone know where to get some dryed up cow poop, and for those who live in pastures, how is your grass? can i have some feedback? let me know what you think or ideas.
