Zinnia Blooms - We're kind of scattered so it's hard to get everyone together. Postage is cheaper when you mail locally though because you don't have to use Priority Mail. It all goes on the same truck (I was told) so it's not necessary to pay the extra postage. If you're mailing out of state, Priority Mail is faster. I have rose campion that I could mail to you in the spring. I saw that on your list. If you'd like some just email me.

In Springfield, there's a Master Gardener sale every year in April that's fun to go to. It's like the Friday after Thanksgiving sales with a long line and pushy shoppers. lol

Dang, Christie, I just ordered rose campion seed from select seed! Of course, I also got petunia Alderman, Poppy Imperial Pink, Poppy Ruby, Texas Sage Dwarf Hummingbird, Snow on the mountain, nicotiana Bella and some variegated honesty!

This weather is driving me crazy and then I look at these catalogs...................

It's not as if I don't have lots of seed saved from last year, just not the above.

I don't know how easy it is to move seedlings but I have several of them and would be glad to send you some too Gld. There's enough for both of you to have several in fact. I was thinking I already sent you an email offering some but maybe I didn't. ???

Have already promised to share seeds. Don't know how i'll take care of them. Just need to get out and plant them.

That Select Seed Co knows what they are doing by being the first cataloge out huh? i ordered tons of poppies, four o'clocks, nastriums and a couple others I have forgotten. How long does it take them to show up?

I am definitely planning to direct sow the seeds when they get here! I have planted them in flats, but transplanting is difficult.

I may be interested in some 4-o'clock seeds down the road; almost ordered some of them too.

Anything that says "self-seeding" on the description gets broadcast on bare ground. You just need a couple of plants to live to have them forever. I have Lauren's Grape poppy in the most interesting places.

I am still waiting on seeds from Jung Seed and Select. I hope they aren't too late to direct dow.

4 o'clocks are so easy to grow. I give them to the kids becuase they get a kick out of growing something that really grows easy and looks good.
if you don't buy any this Spring i will mail you all the free seed you would need. I have 2-3 diffrent varieties coming. i love anything as easy and low maintenance as 4oclocks.
Why do you say interesting places for your poppies? Can you explain?

amazon, I just mean they will blow here and there in the beds, a good distance from where I originally planted them, some even in the lawn.

I am thrilled; I got my Select Seeds in the mail today and we are getting a nice easy rain so it will be a good time to direct sow in a few days.
