This is a type of slime mold common to turfgrass. The name is a misnomer, as it is not a mold....not a fungus. It's actually harmless to your grass, though kind of scary looking. A strong stream of water would probably get rid of it, or take a dry broom to it after it dries. Again, this organism is not harmful to your lawn, to you, or to anything else.

By the way, you should get the blades on your mower sharpened. The tips look shredded, rather than cleanly cut. Believe it or not, that causes a lot of stress on your grass plants.
