Apparently we developed some condominium units for black widows...

I have had 3 encounters with black widows while cleaning the cinder block raised beds. These spiders are very black, plump, have spindly legs, and bright red hourglass spots.

How do I get rid of them? I meant to have all the blocks filled in by now with dirt, sand or cement...just hadn't gotten to it yet. I'm really just mad at myself for A)getting so close to them--3 times! and B) not making it a safe area for my kids.

I am trying to be as organic as possible, I don't know where to start with these creepy things. OR if I just dump dirt in there will they crawl out?
