Does anyone have any suggestions for encouraging it to fill out the pot? Right now it grows completely laterally across the pot.

I've got a lot of these, some tend not to branch, so all you can do is cut the Rhizome counting back from the front to the last pseudobulb with a live growth eye. Cut the Rhizome just before that pseudobulb.

Have some variety orlata and some vin colours but none with the combination of the two.

Of course, you can simplify the name on a keeper to
C. intermedia 'Green Curls'

Arthur - I like the cultivar name! I will try cutting the rhizome and see that happens. I would like to see it feel out a pot just a little bit.
