I can't think of anything else besides dogwood and crabapple that would have pink flowers right now but there may be some that I'm not familiar with. If you can get close enough, dogwood flowers would be pretty easy to id. I've been tempted a few times to pull into someone's driveway so I can get a better view of something but I haven't yet. lol

Among the gardening circles, there has been a lot of talk about how it's such a good year for dogwoods in bloom.

Here in our area crabapples are over, but if you're farther north than 6b maybe they are still blooming. If they are pink dogwoods the showy bracts are bigger than crabapple blooms. The pink dowood also has the same tree form as the white with layered branches.

I'm also tempted to pull into a driveway. If I ever catch a anyone in their yard as I'm driving by I'll stop and ask. People always like it when you admire their plants. :D

I'm fairly certain they're dogwoods as their form is identical to the white dogwoods. I keep seeing them planted side by side, so it's easy to compare the form.
