This one is one of my most relieable bloomers. But it is blooming much earlier than normal. Usually I don't see blooms until December/January and they last until March. The weather starting cooling in late August so a lot of my plants will bloom early this year. Great for the winter blues. Not so great for the March show season. Hopefully, I will have more blooming so I can contribute to the shows.
Thanks! I am growing this one in sphagnum moss and perlite. In the summer I keep it evenly moist. During the winter, I keep it a little drier but don't allow it to dry out completely. I grow it in medium light like a bright east window. It was outside over the summer. Now that it is inside it is in an east window with intermediate conditions.
Thanks Greencurls.I have one growing in sphagnum moss under a mango tree facing east.I've had it for many years not knowing what it was until I posted a pic on the forum. It's a hardy little thing, being so small I lost track of it a few times over the years, got neglected but still survived. Two inflorescence bloomed on it and have a few flowers left.I just love the color of flowers.
